Our Work

We inspect existing penetrations and the performance of new penetrations, ensuring that existing as well as new penetrations are sealed properly, using correct materials and the right length specification, all according to and in accordance with SOLAS, and the Fire-Classification.

What does this mean?

In conjunction with our inspection of penetrations we also look at wiring, mounting are properly made and applied. In addition we also check sealing on draft stops. If repairs have been made, we check performance and that work have been done correctly with compatible products.

When we inspect work in progress, we keep records of broken, open and overlooked penetrations and security related objects such as wiring, and sealings made since previous work or since the construction of the ship.

If the amount of existing broken penetrations and similar objects becomes unmanageable at current job, we document these and contact the client with an offer to, with our own workforce and with the right material, repair all detected and ignored existing faults.

We also perform inspections of new construction and renovation of existing buildings and spaces aboard ships.

When working in the dock, we work closely with companies and authorities such as; Lloyds, DNV, NSI and Bureau Veritas and has at various times been trusted and authorized to carry out inspections for them.

We are a company in constant motion and are continuously ongoing courses in fire safety of both the authorities and the various material suppliers.
